Scandic Hotels

Scandic is the largest chain of hotels in the Nordics, with 230 hotels in 7 countries. The designs of the hotels are as varying as their locations. That is why the work with a visual identity for the Scandic Hotel Group took start in the mutual core values, not the individual hotels.

Scandic stands for a friendly, casual and unpretentious atmosphere. With its large amount of frequent guests that return on a weekly basis, we wanted to communicate the feel of the home away from home, the place where you can take your shoes off in the lobby and feel free to let your kids run around in the corridors. 

My work consisted of: Design strategy, visual identity, art direction of imagebank, education of other agencies working with Scandic's communication in the Nordic region.
